save the date Puglia

The event is organised in the framework of the “REGIONS2030: Monitoring the SDGs in the EU regions - Filling the data gaps", funded by the European Parliament and developed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in collaboration with DG REGIO and ESTAT. It is one of the 10 regional events organised in the framework of the project. The event is co-organised by the Puglia Region, ARTI and the Joint Research Centre. The results of the regional activities will be presented in the final event of the REGIONS2030 project on 5 December 2023, in Brussels.

The Puglia Region has started the process of building its Regional Sustainable Development Strategy (SRSvS) in April 2019. The Puglia’s SRSvS benefits from support and technical debates developed by initiatives promoted by the Italian central government. The governance of the process is supported by moments of sharing and participation by civil society in its various representations, through the Regional Sustainable Development Forum Regional event organized under REGIONS2030 initiative will concur in:

  • increasing local awareness of the SRSvS and of the achievement of the regional SDGs
  • engaging regional departments in the monitoring process of the regional (SDGs) connected to regional strategies linked to the GOALs of Agenda 2030 as their declinations at territorial scale
