save the date Navarra

The event is organised in the framework of the pilot project “REGIONS2030: Monitoring the SDGs in the EU regions - Filling the data gaps", funded by the European Parliament and developed by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in collaboration with DG REGIO and ESTAT. The REGIONS2030 pilot project aims to create knowledge on regional monitoring frameworks for SDGs. This event, jointly organised by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the Navarre Region, is part of a group of 10 events> that take place in each of the Pilot Regions participating in the project.

The main objective of this event is to discuss the progress in achieving the 17 SDGs and their goals in the Foral Community of Navarre and to analyse the strategies for the involvement and commitment of citizens with sustainable development.

The first session of the event will focus on presenting the project and its results. A moderator will facilitate three roundtables, introduced by pitch presentations and followed by an open debate. The first roundtable will focus on the state of the SDGs in Navarre and discuss the efforts and achievements on sustainable development of the region.

The other two roundtables will discuss how to involve citizens and the media in development strategies respectively.
