EUAA Research Programme

  • Projects and activities | Last updated: 28 Oct 2022

Brief me

A key goal of the Research Programme is to develop an empirical model detailing the relative importance of the various key push and pull factors determining asylum-related migration for certain typical flows.

The Programme will be broken down into four major areas:

  1. Gaining an overview of existing relevant work (literature review)

  2. Empirical work (including a large-scale social survey of asylum-seekers)

  3. Constructing an empirical model of asylum-related migration

  4. Developing tools for monitoring of relevant information sources
