Country priority actions for food systems transformation

By July 2025, 159 National Convenors are in place and 130 pathways are developed, as reported at the UN Food Systems Summit +4 Stocktake.

The publication Implementing National Food Systems Pathways: Emerging Practices presents emerging good practices from over 20 countries on implementing national food systems pathways, fostering peer learning and scalable solutions.

The National Pathways, elaborated by countries in the frame of the UNFSS, contain “game changers” for the transformation toward more sustainable and resilient food systems.

The Food Systems Assessments, conducted under a partnership between the European Union, FAO, and CIRAD, list “systemic levers” for the transformation toward more sustainable and resilient food systems.

The reports below, prepared by the Knowledge Centre, present the priority actions per country in a condensed format, from both documents. The reports are currently available for these countries (more to come):
