What we do
The European Platform on Life Cycle Assessment provides harmonised methods, data, and tools to integrate life cycle thinking into EU policy and business practice. Specifically, it aims to:
- Develop and harmonise methodologies (e.g. Environmental Footprint) for robust policy use
- Provide access to databases, tools, and case studies supporting sustainable production and consumption
- Supply evidence for major EU frameworks such as the Green Deal, Circular Economy Action Plan, and Farm to Fork Strategy
- Support all stages of the policy cycle, ensuring coherence across initiatives
