Oleochemicals

Oleochemicals refers to chemicals derived from plants oils and animal fats, including fatty acids, fatty alcohols, fatty esters, fatty amides, glycerol and their derivatives. These products are widely used in many applications including as surfactants (in home care and personal care products and industrial applications), lubricants and solvents (in paints and coatings) and in the production of plastics, rubber and paper.
