Strong national cancer control plans are essential to reducing the global cancer burden and advancing universal health coverage.

The World Health Organization (WHO) invites programme managers, policymakers, technical experts, and partners to join the new WHO Webinar Series on the WHO Academy Course for National Cancer Control Planning. The series runs from 26 May to 8 September 2026.

This interactive, six-part series will complement the self-paced online course, translating learning into practice through real-world country case studies. Participants will discuss key topics such as setting priorities, costing, implementation, performance management, advocacy and partnerships.

The series provides an opportunity to strengthen capacities, exchange experiences and develop the collaboration required for the development and implementation of evidence-based national cancer control plans.
