The Joint Research Centre (JRC) Nanobiotechnology Laboratory runs unique facilities and instruments for interdisciplinary studies. The special focus is on nanomaterials, nanomedicines, advanced materials, micro(nano)plastics, and innovative technologies for health.


Through CERIC-ERIC, the laboratory offers free access to research organisations, academia and SMEs.
