The approach is guided by a framework for responsible AI use, drawing on UNESCO and WHO guidance, ensuring transparency, human oversight, and solutions that work in low-resource settings. By combining innovation, reinvention, and optimization, GAIN aims to use AI to strengthen programme effectiveness, operational efficiency, and equitable impact for the populations most in need.
