Humanitarian action is under fire and under pressure as funding dissipates and attacks rise. Brutal funding constraints have stretched the lifelines that humanitarians provide to the limit in 2025. Many have already snapped, leaving millions of people without assistance and protection. At the same time, humanitarians, especially those serving their own communities, have been attacked trying to deliver assistance and protection to people in need.
