Life Cycle Data Network

The Life Cycle Data Network (LCDN) was launched in 2014. It aims to provide a globally usable infrastructure for the publication of quality assured LCA dataset from different organizations ( e.g. industry, national LCA projects, research groups, and consultants).

Reference package
Life Cycle Data Network (LCDN) European Platform Life Cycle Assessment (EPLCA)

Reference package 3.1: a zipped version of the EF reference package developed for the EF Transition Phase, including all reference files together with additional documentation, organised in the ILCD structure. This package serves as the baseline for the development of EF-compliant data.

The package also includes the configuration file for Look@LCI (updated with the new normalisation factors – NFs – in July 2022; the software is available on the common developers’ page), specific to this EF reference package, as well as the converter (currently in beta version) from EF 3.0 to EF 3.1, located in the “others” folder.

To reflect the changes introduced in the Environmental Footprint 3.1 reference package, additional guidance documentation has also been released for EF 3.1 data developers.
