As a research institute as well as a continuously operational service, ECMWF is in-charge of producing global numerical weather predictions and other meteorological data for the EU Member States and the broader community. The Centre operates two services from the EU’s Copernicus Earth Observation program, the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service and the Copernicus Climate Change Service along with contributions to the Copernicus Emergency Management Service.
