Overview
The EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 will also enable transformative change, i.e. change drastically how we do things at the level of individuals and organisations to make our society more sustainable. This will be achieved by creating a new European biodiversity governance framework, stepping up the implementation and enforcement of EU environmental legislation, and building on an integrated and whole-of-society approach.
Actions
To enable such transformative change, the European Commission has planned the key following actions:
