The commission and EEA will provide Member States with the necessary support, assistance, and capacity building in order to help them carry out their obligation under the Soil Monitoring Law. In particular, the Commission will draw up documents and develop scientific tools in cooperation with the MS that may be further used for different actions required by the Soil Monitoring Law.

Initial efforts will focus on support to Article 4 (Soil districts and soil units), Article 9 (Sampling points) and the Soil Monitoring framework establishment.
