To mark International Migrants’ Day on 18 December 2025, the European Commission’s Knowledge Centre on Migration and Demography (KCMD) releases a new edition of the Atlas of Migration - a reference tool providing the latest validated and harmonised migration data, at global level. This year’s edition features a dedicated chapter on conflict displacement, offering evidence-based insights into how violence, instability and local conditions shape people’s movements within and across borders.The Atlas of Migration serves as a reliable, comprehensive tool from which policymakers, researchers and journalists can derive the latest migration facts and figures.The KCMD has been supporting EU decision makers with solid scientific evidence and data since 2016.This newsletter provides a snapshot of our main publications, tools and findings in the second half of 2025.
