Information about the particular situation of children in migration with emphasis on unaccompanied minors
DG EMPL of the European Commission published an online repository on "promising practices” about the most effective policies in the area of social and labour market integration of refugees and asylum-seekers, as well as skills.
The promising practices have been collected by DG EMPL services, verified through the geographical desks and validated by EMCO (Employment Committee) and SPC (Social Protection Committee). While there is agreement that early access to the labour market as well as to enabling services is key for the labour market and social integration of asylum seekers and refugees, considerable differences exist between Member States in terms of the policies and actions pursued.
The aim of this database is therefore to enhance mutual learning and transferability between EU Member States of the most effective policies in the area of social and labour market integration of refugees and asylum-seekers, as well as skills.
