The Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) oversees, in collaboration with the DG Health and Food Safety, the development of clinical practice guidelines for primary prevention, screening and diagnosis together with a quality assurance scheme for cancer care services aiming to cover the six more frequent cancer types (breast, colorectal, cervical, lung, prostate, gastric).
With this call the JRC is establishing a Working Group to develop guidelines for lung cancer primary prevention, screening and diagnosis together with requirements for lung cancer services covering the entire care pathway.
We are seeking for expressions of interest from clinical, scientific, and technical experts in relevant topic areas (please see Annex I of the call document accessible at the website indicated hereafter), as well as from patients and/or caregivers to be appointed as members of the Working Group.
A Chair and a Vice-Chair will also be appointed as an outcome of this call.
