New screening recommendations for Cervical Cancer

The Expert Working Group of the European Commission Initiative on Cervical Cancer (EC-CvC) has released the first set of recommendations.

The Expert Working Group of the European Commission Initiative on Cervical Cancer (EC-CvC) has released the first set of recommendations on cervical screening tests and the age to start and stop screening.

This is a key milestone in supporting evidence-based, high-quality cervical cancer prevention across Europe. 

The initiative is executed by IARC's Early Detection, Prevention & Infections Branch with the collaboration of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (EC-JRC), funded through the EU4Health Programme.
