The jobholder will contribute to AI Watch by focusing in particular on the social and economic impacts of the uptake of AI in different sectors through both quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as contributing to the technology impact assessment. More precisely, he/she will contribute to assessing the current state of AI adoption in different sectors to act as benchmark for future comparison, identifying within-sector variations across geographies and areas of application, delivering comparative results across sectors and agreed indicators for EU-wide assessment, identifying cross-cultural issues and specificities of each sector.
He/she will then analyse priority sectors to be agreed on annual basis. For each sector a specific customisation of the general methodology may be required.
