Asylum and forced displacement

KCMD supports the implementation of the Common European Asylum System.

Asylum is a fundamental human right guaranteed universally by the 1951 Geneva Convention. The European Union’s Common European Asylum System (CEAS) set up common procedures to ensure fair and humane treatment to all applicants for international protection and to harmonise asylum systems across the EU.
