In the midst of the AI revolution, reliable data on the level of AI investments by the private and public sector are not available.
This blurs the status of AI diffusion and constraints informed decision-making. AI Watch has developed a comprehensive methodology to estimate AI investments and applied it to the European economy.
Because this is the first of its kind attempt to capture the levels of AI investments across all the European countries, this strand of work would greatly benefit from comments and suggestions for improvements.
Feedback on potential data sources and methodological improvements are particularly welcome.
